Just the other day was chatting with a friend of mine in the US. He remarked that he was happy always and wanted a bit of sadness..He wanted to be normal like everybody else. It was something I don't hear everyday, and put me into a thinking mode. I can't say romantic, but probably a wholesome life can't be lived without the 'khatta' (scarcity) factor in it.
Oh, I saw the preview and I thought it had been posted. Anyway, I think yes, it can be, since both abundance and scarcity are forbidding and thanks for the inspiration, I might write something along these lines!
Naah, longing is always more deeply "felt" than apathy or an overwhelmed irritation. It's a direct consequence of personal tragedies magnifying multifold in our heads

ReplyDeleteWo to hai hi... but i was explicitly talking about the romantic aspect. I could have given examples but i wanted it subtle.

I still tend to think scarcity is more romantic.
