...Raat ye bhi guzar jaayegi...

Yun kabhi kabhi sochta hoon
Ki kyun ye waqt itna tez bhaag jaata hai

Yaad aata hai

Wo befikr bachpan
Jab raaz koi kisi se rakhna na tha
Kab kya karna sahi hai ye jaanna na tha
Hansi ko vajah ki zaroorat na thi
Aansu koi bekhabar behta na tha
Duniya mein jab koi bura lagta na tha
Ranj koi do pal theherta na tha

Yun lagta hai jaise kal hi ki baat hai

Yaad aati hai

Wo bindaas yaari
Jab galti ko galti koi samajhta na tha
Shukriya ada karna jab zaroori na tha
Jab laaton se tod diye jaate the darwaaze
Privacy naam ki bala ko koi jaanta na tha
Kuchh kehne se pehle jab sochna na tha
Jab wafaon pe shaq koi karta na tha

Yun lagta hai jaise kal hi ki baat hai

Yaad aata hai

Wo ek pyaara saath
Chand lafzon mein jiski gawaahi na ho
Khushnuma sa wo ek ehsaas tha

Yun lagta hai jaise kal hi ki baat hai

Yun kabhi kabhi sochta hoon
Ki kyun ye waqt itna tez bhaag jaata hai

Phir khayaal aata hai ki
Shaayad meherbaan hai ye
Jo guzar jaata hai
Kisi anchaahe mod par theher jaata
To najaane kya hota!!

    This is fantabulous.
    I can imagine Professor Bhole taking a class and reciting ghazals and poems for some of the chick students. :). Let me attend some of those classes. Please. Please. Please.

    one of my best.. wow.. I didn't rate it that highly when I wrote it.. the stanza you mention would definitely strike a chord with most people :)
