Kisi roz tumse mulaaqaat hogi....

...has been the slogan for 3 years now.. and finally the day has arrived.
Federer meets the history books today, and deservedly so. Finally, the 1st french open.. what a way to get to no. 14...

The Nadals and the Murrays and the Djokovics and the Del Potros.. watch out for the forthcoming Wimbledon... the greatest player in the history of the sport is coming at you to claim his favourite slam with the pressure off him for the first time in his career.. sounds dangerous, doesn't it?

While I do believe, he will win 3-4 more grand slams before he finally bids good-bye to tennis, even if he does not, one thing is settled. Federer is the greatest ever to have played tennis. Period.

And yes, I have always believed that good things come together.. so somehow have this feeling that times are going to change for me for the better in all respects.. so am off to celebrating the moment for now... cheers :)

  1. Had it been against Nadal, he would've enjoyed it more. :) Whether he would've won, is a different thing. :P Remember the Wimbledon final, dear Federer Fanatic? That was some game. :P :P

But Federer is great. No denying that! Congratulations to him.

Probably, it would have been more enjoyable, had it been Nadal.. but Federer defeated the guy who beat Nadal.. and that is the best he could do in the situation..

as for the Wimbledon final, that was indeed a fantastic match..

PS: didn't reply earlier as I probably would have been a little aggressive had I replied immediately :D

@ swati, by the way :)
